Casa Alchimia

Wonderful bed and breakfast near shopping — easy walk into town. Decor is modern/contemporary with sculptures, photographs, beautiful objects and other artwork. Hosts treat you like family. Excellent breakfast. Nice porch and communal areas if you need to take a rest break.

Casa Alchimia is a hidden gem - the home is absolutely beautiful and was clearly curated by two people with impeccable taste. The hosts were incredible and every detail of the experience far exceeded our expectations. Our room was so clean and comfortable with so many thoughtful amenities left throughout. All around incredible experience - thank you so much!!

My wife and I stayed at Casa Alchemia 4 nights. Our room and the common areas was perfect and spotless. Renovated and decorated within the last few years to a very high standard. Breakfasts were terrific with an Italian twist. Highly recommend.

Casa Alchimia is an absolute gem located on Main St. close to downtown Freeport. Hosts Monica and Giampiero bring the best of Italian hospitality, amenities, decor and cuisine. Their warmth and attention to detail sets a new standard for hospitality in Maine. I recommend Casa Alchimia without reservation for individuals, couples and special events. The property would be absolutely beautiful as a wedding venue. I was traveling on my own, but look forward to returning with my husband sometime soon!

My wife and I stayed for three nights. The hosts were amazing. The house and all of the rooms are totally renovated with modern luxury furniture and fixtures. Everything was super clean, the service was amazing, and the hosts are delightful. We would cove back anytime. Google only allows 5 stars, this place deserves 6! Of and the breakfast prepared daily by the host was amazing.
