Stopped here a few times on our trip. The lavender latte is absolutely amazing! The bagel sandwiches are pretty good as well! Good setting and something quick to enjoy! Definitely would recommend if in the area. Serious… get the lavender latte!

I don’t want to ruin this classic San Anselmo business’ income, but in lieu of a website or email address, I’m compelled to leave this public review in hopes that ownership sees it. You guys are over roasting your African beans to a criminal degree. Yirgacheffe and Tz pea berry are such delicate, complex beans, with so many floral / fruity / light flavors, that roasting them within an inch of their lives completely misses their point. Far be it from me to tell someone else how to run their business, but as someone with a deep knowledge of and passion for single origin light roast coffees, you guys shouldn’t do this to your (very expensive) Ethiopian and Tanzanian beans. Dark roast the other stuff. I’m sure most people want that. But please light roast those beans. I’m throwing away the one

This rating (3 stars) is solely based on the smoothies, so take it accordingly. The place was cute and smelled like coffee, but the staff was okay and the smoothie wasn’t all that good.
