This is our go to restaurant when visiting friends in Marin. We went on a Thursday for late lunch. Solid food and service and a warm and inviting atmosphere with generous space.

Excellent food, great ambiance, we 💖 the very attentive manager . Sadly, the grilled lamb skewers are no longer on the menu. Our waiter, Brian, kept recommending the pork chop and seemed a little bothered when I asked about the lamb. But as always, the food was delicious, and the assistant waitresses and manager were incredibly sweet and attentive, making the experience enjoyable overall.💖

Restaurant offers fresh, healthy, a flavorful cuisine that emphasizes vegetables, fruits, grains, olive oil, while also featuring fish and lean meats... Delicious...

Every dish we ordered was top notch, the taste and textures were perfectly seasoned and balanced in flavors, everything tasted incredibly fresh farm to table, and not to mention beautifully prepared - plating is gorgeous! Luncheon: Between my two cousins and I, we shared a Mezze Plate, Eggplant Fries, Summer Salata, Carrot & Lentil Soup, and a Juicy Lamb Burger (best burger) and both fries were well seasoned and cooked to perfection! It was such a fabulous luncheon, we can't wait to go back! Insalata's beautiful atmosphere, lighting and artwork is inviting, cozy and elevated but not stuffy! This was the best meal I’ve ever eaten. It doesn’t even need an explanation. The cheesecake and its saffron pears made me cry.
