The Chicago House

We have stayed here twice now, and this has become our go-to "residence" in P-Town. Peter and David are so sweet and kind, and really offer a homey environment to stay in. This is an historic house, so there are certain things that you must expect, such as small rooms and bathrooms. That does not detract in the slightest from the stay. It's a great location (quiet and off the beaten path but still very close to the action), comfortable home, and offers everything one would need for a fantastic stay!

The Chicago House is in the perfect location--practically in the center of town but on a side street so you're away from the heavy traffic of Bradford and Commercial Streets. The rooms are clean, quiet, and comfortable. The front and back porches are great for relaxing, reading, or chatting with old and new friends. Breakfast stays out all morning and is a bit more than you typically get at a B&B. Chris is a fantastic host--charming, personable, and professional. He made me feel like I was a guest in his home and not just a customer. Also the wifi was free and worked great. I'm planning to stay there again next year.

In my 20+ years visiting P-town, I have never had an experience as awful as this one. It started out with the proprietor, Peter first getting snippy with us because we were 30 minutes late due to a traffic accident, and then he snapped at us for asking for directions to parking. The entire experience became unbearable from there. We were treated like children, condescended and spoken down to at every opportunity. Also - be warned - there are creepy video cameras pointed at you so he can lecture you for anything he spots in his cameras.

Centrally located and easy to access but clear of the busy never ending traffic of Bradford and Commercial Street. Clean, inviting and cozy house full of New England Charm. Chris is the best host and caters to every need. Short walk from everythin, the ferry, food, bars and museums. Room includes parking and additional parking at the museum is closeby. Spacious rooms, unbelievable rates and incredible customer service. Hard to beat this B&B in Provincetown.

The Chicago House is quiet, clean and very well kept. It's also 2 not cos from all the Commercial street pleasantries..and all your desires.. Peter is an awesome host, greets you with a good morning and fresh coffee, whatever state your head is in after a night in the haunts of Ptown! I'm already planning my visit for next year! This is the B&B to book..
