The Cedar Point House

Cedar Point Retreat – Murrells Inlet, South Carolina We stayed at Cedar Point Retreat, hosted by Heather. The home itself is spacious, featuring 7 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms, with a private pool. The property offers plenty of amenities, including a large parking area, two grills, and a separate outbuilding. However, we did experience several issues during our stay that we feel future guests should be aware of: Lack of Privacy: One major concern was the host’s presence on-site for 5 out of the 5 days of our stay. This was not disclosed on the listing. The host's office is located on the property, which made us feel like we lacked privacy throughout our visit. Heather & Chris were the perfect hosts. We were getting married up the road and found this bed and breakfast to stay the night before traveling for our honeymoon. Heather remembered us saying it was gonna be our wedding night and had left us a nice gift in our room, to make our stay even more amazing. Thank you so much! We enjoyed our mimosas this morning!!! We stayed in the cottage, it was very nice, cozy and relaxing. Well designed. Breakfast this morning was delicious! We will definitely be back to visit!

What a wonderful, wonderful place! My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and had the opportunity to stay in these newly built cottage. It may be small but it is complete with everything needed to have a great stay! Full kitchen, electric fireplace made it feel cozy and relaxing. There is a hot tub for use and a pool, which the weather was a tad too cold to enjoy that, but would be a wonderful addition in the summer. Just a great getaway!

Heather and Chris were the perfect hosts. Our room was clean and comfy and a delicious breakfast is prepared every morning. The location is quiet but still close to everything Myrtle Beach has to offer. We definitely recommend staying there! -Ruth and Paul

We had a wonderful night stay here at the Cedar Point House! Very clean and neat place! Very nicely laid out and appointed! Easy check in and out. Pool was super relaxing and hit the spot! Suite was small, but adequate for a couple. The on-suite bathroom was equipped with hotel style double shower for easy access. Towels and washcloths were available. All clean and tidy upon our arrival. Breakfast was very nice! Eggs, pancakes, grits, bacon, sausage… hot coffee, cold brew, oj, and fresh lemon water!! So good! Thanks Chris and Heather for a wonderful stay!
