My experience with Covenant Books has been absolutely fantastic. Before even contacting Covenant, I did a lot of front-end work researching different types of publishing formats, companies, requirements, and expectations. I decided the hybrid format was best for my potential project and then proceeded to review a variety of publishing entities. Covenant appeared to align most with my values and provided up-front information about the selection process and what to expect. This is the second book that I have published and Covenant Books has been wonderful to work with. I definitely would recommend! I worked with Brenda Oakes who coordinated all aspects of their work. This was refreshing as with my first book (different company), I was handed off from person to person. Brenda was informative, timely in her communication and encouraging! Great experience!!

1. Unauthorized Renewal Fees and Loss of Distribution I recently received a notice regarding a $96.00 renewal fee for "The Most Amazing Thing Happened; A Frog's Tale". I have reviewed my original contract and find no mention of such a fee required for continued distribution. Due to the lack of clear communication from Covenant Books regarding this third-party requirement, my book has been pulled from distribution. Amazon is currently unable to fill orders, and my local library has removed the title from their collection. I demand that you immediately restore the distribution of my book as per the original terms of our agreement, which did not include these surprise fees. Patti Philipsen author if this happen to you

Ashley Matthews has been great working with. She has answered my emails in a timely manner and has been so informative. Covenant Books performed better than two other publishers I used in the past. The timely way they procedeed and the information they provide. I was impressed with the editing that was done and the opportunities I was given to make changes or add things.

I worked with Brenda, and she made going through the publishing process easy. She has been such a delight to work with. She's very responsive and informative, and always willing to answer any questions. This publisher will be my first choice for my next manuscript.
