Waterside Retreat

Recently we had the opportunity to spend time in a slice of paradise at Waterside Retreat. During the pandemic we have all missed travel and finding this wonderful bed and breakfast was a perfect getaway. Our hosts Jennifer and Adam have insured that every detail is in place for you to have a relaxing vacation. From the time you arrive to the beautiful plant filled yard to your time by the pool with a wonderful view of the inlet to the serene music that fills the outdoors you are surrounded by relaxation. Their kindness and thoughtfulness is apparent at every turn. Our breakfast was delicious and was far above standard fare. Every detail has been thought out and you won’t be disappointed. Can’t wait for a return visit.

This was our second visit to Waterside Retreat. Our first visit was last minute and turned out to be our best stay at a Bed and Breakfast. We knew we had to return. Jennifer and Adam are the best hosts. We felt so comfortable in this house as their attention to detail is perfection, breakfast is delicious, rooms are beautifully decorated and comfortable. The best part is the beautiful peaceful view of the bay from the pool. ||||Thank you Jen, Adam and Autumn, we can't wait to come back next year!

My husband and I absolutely loved our vacation at Waterside Retreat! We stayed Thursday thru Sunday, with rain falling all day Friday, but this place is so gorgeous and the owners (Jennifer and Adam) are the best so a little rain just made sitting on the screened porch even more relaxing! We had never done a B&B, I was all for it my husband a little hesitate...he said if he knew every experience could be like this he's ready to return. The house is lovely, the breakfast served was not only delicious, but they catered to our requests (no eggs), every room has a view, the pool is so inviting, the walk (5 minutes at the most) to some of the best seafood around, access provided by the owners to Huntington State Park Beach, we just had one of the best times ever! Last year we were fortunate enough to have my maid of honor discover this hidden oasis in Murrells Inlet for the night of our wedding. After celebrating with friends and family we arrived at their house (extremely late and they were gracious enough to allow it) where we were literally treated like royalty from the moment we stepped foot in the door. After sleeping late we awoke to a gorgeous view outside of our window of the pristine pool and outstanding landscape with an unbeatable view of the the inlet. Truly paradise. As newlyweds wanting a relaxing getaway, my husband and I were looking to find a place to spend some quality time and unwind before travelling back to the UK. Waterside Retreat delivered in every way! Their service is beyond compare and we cannot thank them enough for their hospitality. It was more than we could have ever wished for. From the moment we arrived, Jennifer and Adam made us feel beyond welcome and right at home. The house is furnished beautifully and each room decorated with so much thought and care. In fact, my husband didn't even want to use the towels they were that beautiful!
