Amazing affordable venue for parties. The owners take pride and working wth you to make your visions a reality! The brunch... Chef's Kiss! Drinks.... Made with love! When in Elizabeth City.... You have to make a stop!
First impression is definitely a lasting impression. My wife called and placed the order and I called while driving and asked for recommendations of what is popular on their menu besides the Chicken Alfredo. The woman on the phone said there was no other popular items on the menu outside of the chicken Alfredo, so I asked to add a second chicken Alfredo to our order. Passed the big boathouse sign plenty of times, so I thought it would be easy to find the restaurant. The sign said boathouse parking, so I parked near the sign which seemed like the parking lot for a hair salon. Nearby parking lots had signs stating that your vehicle would be towed. Parked my vehicle, started walking and opened Google Maps to help me navigate to the boathouse. Found the front door or main entrance and walke
Great local spot! Thoroughly enjoyed the Alabama Slamma' chicken, shrimp tacos and the hot honey chicken sandwich. We will be back!
Food was excellent 👌. TOOLY'S AND Mary was an excellent cocktail choice with just a hint of spice. Mediterranean grilled chicken sandwich was to die for. Bree was an awesome server. Kitchen cook was very nice as I started up a convo in the restroom (yes, I'm one of those types). Plenty of games to watch on multiple TVs. Fun atmosphere and very fair prices. Fairly difficult to find the entrance. Now we know you can enter through Tooly's Tavern or The Boat House entrances.
The Boathouse blew us out of the water. We went for Sunday brunch and could not have had better service. Staff was friendly from the moment we walked it. Our server Savanah was fantastic. She had us laughing and kept my glass full. Highly recommend the shrimp and grits. Don't tell my momma but the grits were better than hers. 10/10 would recommend. We will be back.
