Customer Reviews
I highly recommend The Blue Max Inn! We have stayed there several times over the past few years and cannot stop talking about how great the Inn is and how awesome the staff is (Sam, Mike and Steve). They make you feel so special and are so kind, professional and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are fantastic; very comfortable with great amenities and a warm welcoming environment. The breakfasts are incredibly delicious! We truly feel like royalty after a stay at this Inn. You won't find a better experience at any other Inn in any State! Thank you so much for providing this wonderful getaway!
Stayed for a weekend with my sister -- girls get away --. We stayed in the Lindsey Room (1st floor). Very comfortable bed, nice sized bathroom. Fireplace in room, as well as an extra couch to lay on. .. it's a stunning house. Nice breakfasts, tea and cookies in the afternoon, plus bottled water and beer available in the refrigerator in the dining area. |Only 3 parking spots out front, and there is a tiny lot behind the inn, but if you aren't looking, you won't find it. The rest of the parking on the street was permit only (I saw one guy get a ticket).|We didn't meet the staff until the 2nd day at breakfast, it's contactless check in (keys left for each guest ). At first i thought it was odd, but they were very nice and told us the history of the house during breakfast service.
Great place for a getaway in Chesapeake City! Convenient to walk around. The inn keeper, Samantha, is very accommodating
First time at the Blue Max, and we all agreed that we will be back. I reserved 4 rooms and all were unique, quiet, and comfortable. Also an easy walk to anywhere in town... even for me using a cane. Oh, there is a first floor room, Lindsey, straight back from the main entrance.
The house was built in 1854 and has a long history. The old furniture and decorations are still used in the house. It seems that the old house has never been renovated... Its design style highlights the classic and gorgeous... The Blue Max Inn is in a great location. We booked the largest room on the rooftop. I saw on the website that this room was bright and luxurious before booking. I was very disappointed when I checked in. First of all, the room smelled musty, the stairs and the room were dimly lit, and the carpet and pillowcase in the bathroom made it impossible for me to see its original color... The bath towels were still black... The breakfast setting is beautiful and the servers are very friendly…
