The Ship Watch Inn has been our Go-To getaway for the past few years - only 20 minutes from our home, but seems like worlds away from everyday life! My favorite room has always been the Annapolis room, but for my latest getaway, I stayed in the Dorchester and loved it! The views are stunning, the rooms are unique and it is located in the historic town of Chesapeake City. Looking for the perfect retreat? You can't go wrong with a stay at the Ship Watch Inn!
We just spent a fabulous weekend here! While this is not our first time in Chesapeake City, it is our first time staying here and it did not disappoint! We paid for the early check in and our room was ready to go on time- easy instructions to get in and out of the inn. Our room was beautiful and relaxing and very clean! Great deck with an awesome view of the canal. Breakfast was perfect! I love the coffee bar that you can use throughout the day. The baked goods were a nice afternoon treat! We traveled with 4 other couples and we all had a wonderful stay! We highly recommend this charming, relaxing, and well taken care of Inn with the perfect location in town. We will definitely be back! Thank you for the pleasant experience and hospitality!
I highly recommend Ship Watch Inn. It is located right on the canal and the views form the room and porch are spectacular. We stayed in the Queen Anne Suite which was so clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. The continental breakfast was just perfect and the hospitality was top notch. This place is a gem!
We decided to go on a last-minute trip to Chesapeake City, Maryland, to celebrate our anniversary, and found this adorable B&B right along the canal. We picked the Kent room, which was adorable, very clean and with a deck overlooking the canal. Actually every room has a view, and we were thrilled when we saw the large ships coming up the canal. Breakfast was absolutely delicious with a variety of bagels, muffins, hard boiled eggs, freshly made mini egg omelets, juice and delicious coffee.|At night they provided ingredients to enjoy smores at the fire pit in the yard. We plan on visiting again next year but will stay for two nights and book a suite!!
We stayed on a Sunday night in the Annapolis Suite. We had a wonderful experience. The room was clean and comfortable, with wonderful views of the C&D canal. The innkeeper was friendly and hospitable, and the breakfast was very good. I would say the best thing was the views. We watched a beautiful sunset one night, and a beautiful sunrise the next morning from the deck. On Sunday night we got take-out from a local restaurant (the Tap Room) and had dinner on our deck. It was fun watching the boats go by, and we saw a huge cargo ship go by as well. On Monday morning we stopped by the nearby C&D Canal Museum (closed on weekends) to learn more about the canal.||Please note: Although the Annapolis Suite is on the "Penthouse level" top floor, there are other rooms on the 3rd fl
