Real McCoy Dairy Creme & BBQ

I'm sure by the reviews and everyone in line ordering ice cream, that they are best known for that. I ordered the jumbo cheeseburger and fries. The fries were hot and crispy- delicious. The cheeseburger was not one that I would adventure to try again (and I was really excited to find a Dairy Bar in Maryland!). I have ate at many, many dairy bars over the years. The bread was too soft and did not have that nice crust from a griddle top, the cheese was not the typical yellow cheese and the raw onions was a big slice- way too much raw onion in a single bite. I expected a nice crust from the griddle on the hamburger patty as well, but that wasn't present either. Glad I gave it a try but won't be back (I'm not an ice cream fan). We go there every week during the summer. The ice cream tastes great and the portions are usually pretty large.

Did a walk on the C&D canal trail yesterday with our two dogs Nyra the Husky and Grace the Chipit. Decided to check out the Real McCoy for some ice cream cones. Great treat after a hot walk. Yes Nyra and Grace got the end of the cones with a small amount of ice cream. They both gave it a paws up.

Saw plenty of interesting items on the menu but we stopped for ice cream . good variety of flavors, nice sizes of scoops, decent prices. Nice outdoor facilities to sit at a table in the shade while you eat.

One of the best ice cream joints in county. Especially after Kilby closed. The menu is confusing and leads you into making poor choices. Closes too early at night in the summer. Cash only.
