I was afraid to try the broiled fish fry since changing to a healthier lifestyle of eating, especially after always eating their absolutely delicious beer battered. We've been eating there 20 years. The broiled fish was absolutely AMAZING. My husband ate his beer batter and I happily, with the biggest satisfied smile on my face, ate my 10+oz broiled fish. I looked at my husband and said - my fish tastes exactly like yours. Moist flaky melts in your mouth. The atmosphere is like eating in your grandma's dining room. Service is so friendly. Highly recommend!
Very cozy place and very home like. Missed the fish nextime.
Food is always great, small cozy place with history. Great service, always a bit of a wait for their famous fish fry so make sure to call ahead or prepare to wait a bit for a table during peak hours
Such a cute little hideaway that we stumbled upon out of the blue. Why didn't we know about this sooner?! The fish fry (lunch portion) was wonderful and plentiful. I would highly recommend this place...however, I'd never get a seat again if I did! Lol
Max is an excellent server! The food was very good and delivered rather quickly. Small place; quiet and warm.
