Gator Jon’s BBQ

Cool food truck vibe adjacent to an old school house. The brisket sandwich was super tender and flavorful. The pulled pork sandwich was also tender and had stronger smoky flavor. Potato salad and baked beans were also excellent. Super nice family running this local favorite food truck.

Great BBQ to find in Grand Island, right next to Kelly's Country Store. Their beans had bits of brisket and pulled pork that gave off some spice which matched the beans perfectly. I had the pulled pork which was great with the sauce and the coleslaw that was refreshing and slightly sweet. Definitely a good place to check out for some BBQ. I attached a picture of my friend's food since I ate mine.

Holy smokes. Fantastic BBQ !!! Brisket burnt ends. Reasonably priced. Beans are killer Mac & cheese made the right way! Real excited to have another real bbq joint in the area. Jon is a nice guys who knows his business. Wed through Saturday only.

Holy Smokes! Best smoked BBQ hubby and I have had since hubby hasn't been able to do himself (sadly been awile). You can absolutely taste the beautiful woody flavor and low and slow love in the brisket, burnt pork ends and even the beans and mac and cheese. Potato Salad is solid as well. Portions are huge and the service is accommodating and old school neighborly. Love, love, love 🤤.

LOVE Gator Jon's! My co-workers go every Friday - brisket, pull pork, Mac and cheese, potato salad, etc are all AMAZING. We love coming to hang, eat and chat with Jon and Michelle. They are very welcoming and personable :)
