The BBQ Shack

Ordered some BBQ to go. We ordered a Pulled Chicken Sandwich, Brisket and for sides Cole Slaw and Salt Potatoes. Brisket, Potatoes and Cole Slaw were perfect. Chicken was a bit dry but extra sauce did the trick. All employees were super nice and very attentive. Recommended.

20250519 The owner greeted me the second I walked in. He was very nice. Bring cash!! To avoid paying credit card fee. I got the combo with chicken and brisket, and cold slaw and beans. The cold slaw was good, but highly recommend the baked beans!! The chicken and brisket were generous portion, but they are on the dryer side, but not dry. I wish they were more moist, juicy. Maybe this is a different style of bbq? The brisket was very lean. I tried all 4 sauces, and couldn't decide which I like best. Each is unique. The cornbread was ok, kind of dry to my liking. Their prices are reasonable. My finicky pup liked the brisket, but not the chicken. My other pup is not interested which is what I expected because she only likes a few things. Recommend giving it a try.

Delicious food and large number of menu items! Located in a small building that could easily be overlooked that it shares with a land surveyor office. Very casual.

the food was good in theory but sadly, almost everything was ridiculously bland (the fries, pulled pork, macaroni salad, salt potatoes, etc) be prepared to salt ur own food. the cornbread and pasta salad were good tho

We got the sampler platter with macaroni salad, salt potatoes, chicken wing dip, and mac n cheese.The chicken was amazing. Extremely tender pulled pork that melts in your mouth. Sides were ok. Not big on the mac n cheese. Tasted like peppery scalloped potatoes to me. Overall good meal. Could use some music to make it or more inviting atmosphere. Would visit again.
