Sans Dumplings

Sans Dumplings is an absolute gem in Penn Yan! The dumplings are fresh, flavorful, and made with such care—you can really taste the quality of the ingredients. The menu has a great variety, and everything I’ve tried has been delicious. The staff is warm, welcoming, and makes you feel right at home. It’s such a treat to have this kind of authentic, handmade food in the Finger Lakes. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!

The dumplings were amazing. Crispy on the outer shell but still soft and perfectly cooked. The flavors were well matched and the sauce was drool worthy! check the hours before you go, online said 11-5 but they had an hour lunch break 2-3 (we arrived at 2:01). We went to another winery locally to wait out the hour break and came back promptly at 3 to enjoy our much awaited dumplings!

I love dumplings and when I saw the reviews for this place, I knew I had to visit. We called ahead and ordered 9 Tofu dumplings (they take 15-20 minutes to get your order ready). The dumplings were so tasty and authentic. The actual restaurant is very small but they do have tables outside where you can eat-in. There is a beautiful vineyard right next to Sans Dumplings that we didn't know about previously and they were fully booked out for tastings. Maybe next time! Do check the day and timings for your visit to this place as they are open only for a few hours on certain days of the week.

Found this place on Google Maps and had to stop for lunch while visiting wineries! The dumplings are delicious!!! Was easy to order, and they didn't take too long. There is some seating outside. Wouldnhighly recommend it!

I absolutely love it here. The dumplings and bao buns are amazing and the staff is super friendly. Make sure you double check the hours because they do close for lunch. I have been multiple times and love getting to enjoy a view while eating amazing food.
