Penn Yan Public Library

Library is relatively small compared to others; staff is very friendly and helpful; Limited number of computers available for public use; Parking lot is not very big;

Raised my three children as regulars. Definitely a key to their success in life . Great educations and kinda added to their overpaid careers!! And I owe it from the start for the regular visits to our fine Penn Yan public library.Where we are all known by name.Great Staff!! Always visit when ever in town. 5 stars Plus

We are originally from LI, cannot believe how great this library is. The staff is fabulous, reserving and getting books is so easy and expeditious. And the Southern Tier system keeps you updated on your reseve status. We cannot say enough about our wonderful Penn Yan Library and staff.

A tremendously welcoming place. The librarians are all kind and helpful, they have the books you want or can get them there if they don't, there's a great children's section, and lots of fun community activities and services like free computer and Internet access, laptops, printers and fax machines. An amazing library that clearly tries very hard.

Really good hours for such a small village, the library staff are friendly and will treat you like they have known you for a long while. Wifi is better than I thought it would have been, cool that there is a lounge for teens some big libraries in big towns don't have that.
