Tex-Mex Smokehouse BBQ

Delicious food. The birria pizza is fabulous. So tender, moist and favorable. A huge portion. Mike had a steak quesadilla, a la carte. Tortilla had a nice crisp. Steak was tender and seasoned well. Chips and salsa are both very good. They bring a verde and picosa upon request. The service was top notch. The restaurant is very clean. We hope people frequent here so they can be successful. We live about 45 mins away but will stop when passing through.

Walk in to the combined aromas of Fajita and Barbecue! I dined alone at lunch and had the barbecue nachos! They were excellent and plentiful! A great bargain at &11.99. Restaurant was clean and staff was friendly. We are in Gluckstadt a couple of times a week and need to place this place a regular stop!

I stopped in for a beer late, it was almost closing time. I was just wanting a quick beer, and instead of Barley’s, I stopped in to check this out because it’s new. The menu looked good, but I was just browsing and ordered a Dos Equis. Alejandra greeted me with a smile, I explained I wasn’t going to eat nut just have a beer. I asked her how the birria was and she said she loves the birria. I said I would come back and try it. She went and grabbed a bowl and brought me a taste. I’ve been in the restaurant business for 30 years and although food quality has to be good, it’s hospitality and the people on staff that truly bring folks back. Alejandra was genuinely kind and hospitable, I’ll be back to order that birria soon!

Miguel and crew are the best. Very hospitable and the food is amazing. I love their street tacos with pastor (pork), chorizo (spicy sausage) and shrimp including avocado and shredded cheese but I've also rolled my own with a hybrid happy plate with all the veggies and rice and beans. You won't be disappointed!
