Taste of Asia

I have visited for dine-in many times when I lived in Roanoke several year ago. It has went downhill from previous experiences. When we arrived we were seated immediately with no wait, and I quickly learned why. Soda was $3.50 for a small bottle with no refills. Not sure why they don't have a fountain machine for a place that has been well established. I opted for the tea that was like pure sugar and had to get some unsweet to balance it out. We ordered the cream cheese crab rangoons. They were a decent size and we got five for $9.95. They don't serve with the traditional sweet and sour sauce but they likely the only decent part of the meal. We ordered the California roll for appetizer. The avocado was brown. So either it was made in advance and turned or they knowingly put brown avoca

First time eating here. It was fabulous. The Thai dumplings were delicious! I thoroughly enjoyed the Massaman curry, just the right amount of heat and wonderful flavors.

We so enjoyed our lunch at Taste of Asia. We really like the new lunch menu. My husband got the Pepper beef and I got the Cashew nut chicken. Last time I got the Gai Yang and everything was delicious then and now. The service was prompt and amazing. They remembered the drinks we ordered from the time before, and asked if we would like that again. We were both very impressed. I couldn't have nicer things to say about Evelyn the owner, she is so happy and delightful and really cares about her customer service and food quality. And you can really tell that in the finished product. I would give them 10 stars if I could! Can't wait to come back again.

Vast menu of Asian food options from Thai to sushi to Chinese. Quiet interior area with plenty of seating and relatively prompt service. Heavy sauce on the Pad Thai and a weaker sauce for the satay chicken but overall a solid lunch and dinner place serving generous portions in Roanoke.

Had an excellent late lunch today! Whenever I try a new Thai place, I always try their Chicken Satay & Tom Yum soup. They blew me away!! The satay came with the best peanut sauce I’ve ever had at a Thai place! The service was speedy and wonderful. Will definitely be returning :)
