Customer Reviews
I’ve ordered here twice and as someone that has Jamaican family, I can say that the food is authentic. It is the best that I have had in Roanoke. I’m not a fan of rice and peas outside of me making it or my family making it and I normally wil just not eat it, not their rice. You can literally taste the coconut milk and the flavors of the rice. It’s soft and not very hard and stuck together. The portions are generous and everything I’ve had is good. They also cater to the customer so if you ask for a modification to something they will do it. I wish the jerk was spicier but that’s because I love really spicy. Beyond the food, the owners are very pleasant. I’ve only ordered over the phone and typically they are orders for a party of 4 and the woman is always patient and sweet! When pickin
Reggae Grub delivers authentic Jamaican flavor! Everything is made from scratch using traditional ingredients and real care. I had the jerk chicken and fried plantain — perfectly seasoned and delicious. Warm service and island vibes make it a must-visit.
The food was really good. Traveling from boston through Virginia and had taste for brown stew chicken and they delivered. The staff was helpful. I definitely saved this place for the next trip i have through Virginia.
My go to spot for Jamaican food. The jerk chicken is perfectly spiced and pairs well with the callaloo & red beans and rice. Also can’t go wrong with the plantains. Staff are friendly and helpful.
I was finally able to return and try the food. Let's just say you will not be disappointed. I had the jerk chicken, rice and peas and potato salad with gravy of course. A side of fried plantains. The food was fresh and well seasoned and all house made. Service was good and environment was clean. This spot is a must try if you need a hot delicious meal. I am happy with the overall experience. I'll definitely be back.
