Chris's Coffee & Custard

They were very rude when I asked how long would it be before a fresh batch of fried chicken would come out.You could tell what was out was from the day before because it was not guiet lunch time.It was only like about five pieces out . they got mad and was very rude.Not customer friendly at all.she asked me what was wrong with that. I responded. I would like a fresh batch. Which I and many other people will do at any restaurant. So I was not depressed because of the rudeness

Amazing coffee and custard shop with great service. You feel right at home! Great area for kids too with an activity table to keep them occupied while the adults enjoy their coffee and delicious custards!! As if thatbwerent enough, buying here supports a great cause and we are all about that! Definately 5 stars!!!

Chris’s Custard is a coffee house with good food. It is nice that it is close to Garden City and South East Roanoke. I found it convenient for me to travel to and it’s also not too far away from South Roanoke. I was pleasantly welcomed by a young gentleman who pointed out to me the coffee and food items. He also showed me the seating area. I thought to myself “is this the Hotel Roanoke”. Wow a staff member that greets you as the door with a big smile. The red carpet treatment is nice. I sat and had a good cup of coffee. I liked that fact that the tables offer room to read and write. It’s a nice place with nice folks working there. This friendly place well deserves a 5 star rating.

5 star experience in every aspect! Delicious food, friendly service, unique industrial building and location. We got a spinach/cheese pastry that was amazing & a breakfast croissant. It was nice having somewhere we could go to get a late breakfast around noon. We ordered with coffees and ate outside. Pretty mountain views in a unique industrial location (supposedly was an old silk mill at one point in time). Afterwards, we split a dessert special of an Apple pastry topped with custard and chocolate caramel drizzle. A must go if your in the area.

Chris’s coffee shop is great! The drinks were yummy and we loved our food. The BLT was very refreshing and there were lots of drinks and food options. Everyone is also so kind!
