Taqueria 504suazo’s

While visiting the Island, decided to get a burrito. Got the Carne Asada. It was fresh, with a lot of heft to it. When I cut it in half, it also looked plentiful and rich. However, the amount of steak was minuscule. All in all about 12-13 tiny pieces of steak on a burrito that came in over a lb. I was hungry and I ate it, but will try something else next time. This felt more like a veggie burrito , to be honest. Also, the Iceberg lettuce was prevalent and chopped in large chunks. The rice was ok, not a lot of flavor, though. The stand looks decent with nice white tables and it's off the beaten path a bit. I'd imagine that is a challenge to park when the island is busy. Service was quick and courteous. Will stop by again. Hope the pics can give you an idea about the burrito composition.

Went to Taqueria 504 this evening. Can be easily missed since it is not on the main road. This food truck offers some great food. This is located between Silver lake and lighthouse road. I got the Ocracoke Burger. (I always got to get burger). Fries came with. My wife got the nachos supreme. The portion sizes are huge. The amount of nachos and fries given were generous. The burger was quite large as well. The burger tasted good but the meat seems somewhat of a little lower of quality than what I am used to. We both got mango sodas which we quite yummy. Good little food truck. I will try some seafood at a future visit. Pictures below.

While visiting the area’s lighthouse you might get a little hungry, never fear tacos are near! 504 is right around the corner offering up some food truck eats! You’re coastal so don’t do the burger, go for tacos! Fish or shrimp! 10 bucks gets you a big portion of food, 3 fatty loaded tacos with tons of flavor! Nice quick spot up snack it up while on the go for breakfast lunch or dinner!

So, so delicious! We arrived on Ocracoke at 10:15 and immediately came here for breakfast/lunch at 10:30. Outdoor seating was available, no wait, and the food was so outstanding we stopped again on our way off the island because our preschooler wanted "more quesadilla!" We had the carne asada burrito, the chorizo pollo tacos, the Ocracoke quesadilla, and the regular cheese quesadilla. Everything was delicious and quick. And reasonably priced. Would absolutely recommend!!!!

Best tacos on the island. Good selection for the seafood lover and land lover. If you are looking for a great street style taco this is your place. We stopped here a few times while on vacation. Highly recommend and they offer a shrimp by the pound mid-day that you can take and enjoy by the ocean or some where else with a view.
