Well made eggs, tasty hash browns, sausage was very well balanced, and the hotcake was delicious! Coffee mugs never ran low. Waiter was pleasant to talk to and made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect breakfast. Found a wonderful breakfast spot for our next visit! 2X order of the Big Pony Breakfast

After reading the reviews this was our first stop after getting off the ferry. And, honestly, I would have loved to give this place a five star rating but…. I ordered the morning special of a crab and Swiss omelette. There were so many shells I had to spit out every other bite. The flavor was great but because I could only eat half of it, it definitely wasn’t worth the $25 we had to pay for it. However, my husband loved his breakfast tacos, our kids loved their breakfast: banana pancakes, eggs, bacon. I just wouldn’t recommend the crab and Swiss omelette.

Best breakfast on the island! All the classic breakfast foods done right. Our party of four was seated without a wait at 9am Saturday morning in October. Don't try that during the warm months though. This place is popular and gets pretty busy. But definitely worth it. The omelets are a favorite with us and don't skip those big, plate sized pancakes. Pay at the hostess stand when your done and grab a t shirt on your way out.

We came back over to the island just to eat here!... well worth it! Breakfast was awesome! We had the pancakes, French toast, and strawberries, link sausage, breakfast taters, and biscuits. Fast and great service. Reasonably priced.

LarderRoom...Brunch at the Pony Island Restaurant in Ocracoke, NC wouldn't be complete with a huge slice of Country Ham! The picture does not justice. That is a slab of delicious salty ham. Now bring on the French Toast, Pancakes and that thick Black Coffee! Nothing better than a big southern breakfast before a day in the SUN with the family!
