Tanto Gyoza and Ramen Bar at Piikoi Ala Moana

Good little gyoza restaurant hidden next to Ala moana center. The staff is really sweet and helpful. When you enter the restaurant you really feel like you enter a restaurant in Japan. You directly see the kitchen and all the staff welcomes you 🙏🏾 My wife and I ordered their must try gyoza and I took the black tonkotsu ramen. The ramen was good overall and the price was really good with the special lunch combo at 5$ for gyoza and a salad. Special mention for the takoyaki 😍, best one I tasted for now, really creamy and filled with a generous piece of octopus We both don’t drink alcohol but the price for a beer and sake shot was 3$ each so really worth going there to eat some gyoza and enjoy a good beer 🍺 We really enjoyed it 👍🏾

This hole in the wall is full of flavor, with parking also available. I’ve been to Japan and this is the very close best here in Hawaii. Not overpriced and the flavors out of this world! Highly recommend and will definitely be back! 🤙🏽

Today I got to try the Red Hot Chili Remen & Spicy Mayo Crispy Gyoza and they were great. Also, the service was very friendly and helpful.

I was really excited to try this place after seeing their reels, but TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! NOT WORTH IT. My friend and I sat down on the countertop seats. 2 servers kept running around so we waited until they're less busy. They mumbled and told us to wait when we made eye contact. Then the server started taking orders from someone who just walked in after us, because she was doing a takeout?? We finally flagged one down after trying to get their attention multiple times. We ordered 2 beer, 2 ramen, and gyoza. 20 min later the the new people next to us got their ramen first who ordered after us, so we kept waiting and actually ordered more beer. Did they make our ramen after theirs because we had beer?? We ended up spending more because it took half an hour AFTER we ordered to get our ramen.
