Tacos Coronado

Small little place that don’t look like much from the outside but the food was delicious. Everything was fresh. Chips tasted like they were right out of the fryer. Salsa was good. I got the California burrito with carnitas. The pork was amazing and the burrito was huge. The service was also great. They made sure we had everything we needed and wanted. Wish I had a place like this close to where I live. Highly recommend and will definitely return when in the area.

Had an excellent lunch here. There is limited indoor seating. The staff was gracious and helpful and checked on us frequently. We were brought delicious hot/fresh tortilla chips with a tasty salsa. I ordered the chicken tacos which came with rice & beans. They were loaded with chicken and had a good guacamole on them. The beans were really good also. Couldn’t eat it all, a lot of food. Husband ordered California burrito which was huge and very tasty as well. Definitely recommend for good Mexican food.

Amazing food, so fresh and the flavors were great!! I got the 3 camarones (shrimp) tacos and the portions are plentiful. The staff were so friendly and helpful and even brought us some extra sauces that were perfect for my tacos. The prices are unbeatable especially for the area. Best Mexican we’ve had in the central Virginia area!! I highly recommend it!!

This is not a fancy place with lots of seating for large groups, but it is wonderfully authentic food. Our service was good and my Gorditas Al Pastor was delicious. I will definitely return. Please Support our local small businesses. This food is so much better than the Mexican chain restaurants.

If you’re reading this review- order it already. Everything is honestly amazing. I’m so skeptical about living here for over a year and no one suggesting it. The automate service is awesome and fast. The generous amount of meat on each dish is insane in a post-Covid world. Everything is really fresh. You can taste the mango, pico, and every other flavor from the separate parts of each dish. I’ve never had rice appear to be so simple, yet so flavorful. If you have an open palette not biased to Taco Bell and heavy salts and seasoning- this is your place. I got the Al Pastor Taco platter, Steak Nachos, Carnitas Gorditas and my family of three has not even gotten to the California Burrito because we are stuffed! I meant to order more and I’m glad I didn’t for now because I am absolutely stuffe
