Taco John's

Classic Taco Johns experience. I've always got the 6 pack and a pound which I have never once had anything wrong with. The tacos are always delicious with salty meat, fresh tasting lettuce, and melty cheese. The potato olés are notably better here than some other locations, as sometimes I've had them elsewhere where they were underseasoned. Not here, the potato olés have always come out perfectly seasoned and crispy for me.

Went through the dive thru and they were fast and I got a potato super potato ole but I wanted my potato olives on the side so that they were not mushy and they accommodated me without complaining and didn't even bat an eye at it

Went through the drive-through, ordered a hard shell taco with sour cream and a small Patoto ole. I got to work halfway through the taco, and there was no sour cream. I called the store and explained the situation. She asked if I wanted to come back for sour cream. Really, after it's half gone. Mind you, they charged me for it. I checked the receipt. I asked the refund of the sour cream, and she said she can't it would refund the entire order. Now, let's ask ourselves, what would I do if I were that manager? Refund the meal. Yes, it's only .50 cents, but think about others who don't receive things in their order. Poor management.

Love the food. Customer service a bit weird now since they have AI robot taking your order. Only thing I did not like.

This 'Johns is always impeccably obsessively clean. Whole thing looks brand new. They have the local papers to read while you eat and one TV going (just enough to stare at but not overwhelming like a sports bar). Staff are perfectly professional yet down-home friendly and polite. Perfect customer service attitude for rural Minnesota. Food is fresh and prompt, made how I asked. And the potato oles are super crispy! My only complaint is out of their control: the seats are hard!
