Laven House B&B

The Laven House was the perfect haven for my family as we gathered from across the nation to celebrate Christmas. The proprietors were easy to communicate with, had the house decorated, Christmas lights on, fireplace going, fun antler headbands on the coffee table for the kiddos, and cookies on the dining room table along with fresh flowers and a greeting. What a welcome!! The house was immaculate, the rooms appointed with little extras that made it homey. We utilized all bedrooms, which were spacious, comfy, and on different floors of the house to provide privacy and quiet. We did bring our own Pack 'n Play for the toddler in our group! The first floor accommodated my daughter, who was in a wheelchair, nicely. There were 4 steps to get into the house, but sturdy handrails and strong guys

Absolutely perfect! We rented the Laven House for our family's Christmas. We gathered from across the nation to celebrate together, and this was the perfect setting! The house was beautifully decorated for Christmas, right down to the fresh arrangement on the dining room table! Alongside it was a plate of homemade Christmas goodies with a note welcoming our family! This along with other thoughtful touches set the stage for our gathering and made us feel welcome. When we arrived the Christmas lights were all on, the fireplace glowing, and reindeer headbands awaited the kids on the coffee table! Even the grandchildren commented how festive it was. l especially appreciated the fact that the first floor and all the common areas easily accommodated my daughter who was in a wheelchair due to mu

My wife and I stayed for 1 night in the Cinema Room in the Laven House and had a great experience. The whole process was easy from booking to access. The house was beautiful and clean. The room was fantastic from the decorations to the large screen TV. Plenty of space to move around and put your stuff. The bathroom was nice with very hot water. We enjoyed 2 movies and popcorn and snuggled up on the theater seating.

We had a excellent experience! Laven house is a beautiful property, with cozy touches throughout. It has antique charm mixed with modern conveniences. Owners did a great job communicating without being invasive. Absolutely recommend for your next adventure in Mankato.

Loved our room at Laven House. Self check in was seamless. Warm, welcoming and clean space. Everything we needed was right there. Perfect space to spend a few hours quietly with our university student. Will be back!
