Szechuan Express

Our family has been eating here for years. The food is always fresh. The Shrimp Fried is the best I’ve ever had and they use large shrimp and are very generous with amount of shrimp they put in the order. Make sure that your try the Garlic Shrimp. It’s outstanding! The Lo Mein has the most amazing smokey flavor. Lastly, the Won Ton soup always has a generous portion of Won Ton’s. They don’t skimp.

Amazing place to eat! My family is VEGAN and there's plenty of foods to choose from to eat here. The food is probably the best I've ever had compared to other restaurants alike. Hands down. We ordered the BEAN CURD, which is fried tofu. Super crispy on the outside, the best bean curd we've tried so far. Can't go wrong with vegetable fried rice with NO egg. Amazing! Spring rolls, YUM! Steamed broccoli in brown sauce DELICIOUS! I'm pretty sure my family acts like we haven't eaten all day when we eat there, because we devoure the food there! The folks there are super friendly. The 2nd time we went there, the lady remember us and our order! That's talent right there! The gentleman came up to us and talked to us for a few seconds. SUPER NICE! I really enjoy this place. It's a new favorite spot

The husband and I stopped at Szechuan Express today to place an order after our errands were done in Bel Air. We hadn't ordered anything in several years as we had moved 300 miles away. We finally escaped WV and bought a house in PA. Well, 25 miles for take-out food seemed a bit excessive, though we did it a few times, it was just too long a ride. Today we decided to go for it since we were in the area anyway, and hoped the food was still good. OMG it's as good, if not better, than I remembered. It’s probably been 7 or 8 years since we bought food at Szechuan Express, and I was SO PLEASED to discover they’ve maintained their high quality and delicious flavors. Not that good, sorry. 🤷‍♂️. Update. 2/2025. A friend of mine swore this place is very good now. So we tried it again and sorry, it’s just not good. Two NEW visits just to make sure. The lo mein had no flavor both times. The chicken chow fun was very good both times. The pan fried dumplings were very good. The beef & broccoli was thick on goo sauce like you’d get at the mall. Gross. The pineapple fried rice with chicken had more cranberries in it than chicken or pineapple. Yea you read that correctly. Pineapple rice but loaded with cranberries. Make that make sense. ???? So in short. I’d get the chow fun and pan fried dumplings again but that’s it. 👎

Food is so good compared to other spots. The crab wantons are the best and i just really love this place no other place can top it EVER.
