Box Hill Pizzeria and Crab Cakes

Today was our visit time at Box Hill and it definitely will not be our last. The crab cakes were hands down the best I’ve ever had. They were huge with so much lump crab. I got a Greek salad as a side and it was delicious. So much cheese and their how dressing was so good! We also got the crab pretzel as an appetizer and it was perfectly prepared topped with a lot of crab. The service was excellent as well. Our waitress was very attentive and our food came out quickly. I know some reviews mention it being odd that the drinks are self service but with it being a Coke freestlye machine, having everyone get their own drinks makes total sense. We enjoyed the large variety of drinks offered.

It was my fist time dining experience. It took more than 10 minutes for our server to greet us. The food was fresh and tasty, the drinks are self served. Overall experience was okay.

I was in the mood for crab cakes and decided to try a local restaurant in Harford County so we ended up dining @ Box Hill. We were seated right away as we opted for outside dining. Nevertheless, their crab cake was exceptional; plentiful, fresh, and absolutely delectable. Crab cake lovers 🦀will not be disappointed! Plus, they offer so much variety on the menu from hot to cold sandwiches, pizzas🍕, pastas, and cakes! I would describe Box Hill as a hidden gem in Harford County, Maryland.

This was the second time we shipped your crabcakes and they did not disappoint. Dry ice worked like a charm, thawed in time for Christmas Dinner; crab cakes, rice pilaf and asparagus of course a few saltine crackers. I think we have revived a Christmas tradition. Don't change a thing. We loved them.

So first off, the crab cakes are always phenomenal. The pizza was much better than expected. The calamari was not chewy and the marinara was warm. They were about eight of us and everyone was very happy with their meals previously I had ordered their salad dressing shipped to my home in New York and will be doing it again shortly. It’s amazing Greek dressing.
