Sweet Cheeks Diner

We already love the bakery so we had to try the diner. And we're so glad we did! Everything was delicious, the decorations were really cool, large portions, and some of the friendliest waitresses I've ever met! I highly recommend a stop in for breakfast, I know I'm going back for lunch soon!

I absolutely love themed diners and the whole vibe of them. This does not disappoint when it comes to atmosphere, service and food! I absolutely loved the decor, My husband and I walked around looking at everything taking photos. We went on the second day and they were out of a lot of things because of such a wonderfully successful first day so they accommodated us by attempting to discount my check but we told them we would love to just support them because food is amazing and it's not BAD they did so wonderful the very first day!! I'm excited for once they get in their groove and I know it will be a 10/10 and our new "go to" spot. We had lunch but we are excited to try breakfast next time! We’re on a girls trip from Ohio to Salem and then to Maine. We stopped here for breakfast and they did not disappoint. Food was yummy and delicious. Our waiter Christian was excellent. He had the best personality and was so funny. Joked around with us just like we like joking around with others. It was a great start to our day 😀 And the diner was beautiful

I rate this place 5 stars based on service alone. Being the day after Christmas, they had one server working and the place had 6 tables (one large party). I was a little sad there was no soup or the infamous chili, ordered the grilled cheese. Let’s start with Christian, the main event and the reason for this post. I eat out a lot, but when I experience this level of service I have to do something about it. This kid is going places, he is truly a gem and should do standup, fast on his feet, efficient and friendly. We were very impressed. He even put a smily face on my dessert.

We ordered smash burgers and steak fries for lunch and they did not disappoint. The steak fries were delicious and the smash burgers were just like what used to be luncheon specials at the Verona Island Sweet Cheeks Bakery. The diner is beautifully decorated, welcoming and bright. We enjoyed our time there and plan to go back for breakfast soon!
