Carrier's Mainely Lobster

Went here in July on a road trip. Such a great place on the side of the road! The lobster roll was so good but also so affordable even for Maine ($28 if I remember correctly). The lobster bisque on the side complemented it perfectly. 10/10 would recommend!

Pricey and not that great a lobster roll would be the headline for this place. The lobster were ok but didn’t taste like anything and was missing that sweetness of good lobster meat. Frankly we were baffled why so many reviews claimed this place had the best lobster rolls in Maine, they weren’t! As for the ice cream, it was excellent! All in all a decent place.

Amazing! Learned a little about difference between Soft Tail Lobster and Hard Tail (not one of those things we need to know about growing up in Montana and Wyoming 😁). Tasted wonderful and decently priced (I paid more because I ordered Lobster). I'd for sure go back again. Order at window style with plenty of seating outdoor, covered outdoor, and an indoor area.

Mainly lobster, yes. Excellent lobster rolls and crab rolls. French fries were soggy, the onion rings (commercially-breaded) were tasteless. The only thing weaker than the lemonade was the iced tea, so get a fountain drink. Exterior, pavilion patio, and interior seating was clean, as were the restrooms.

Friendly staff. Fried clams and onion rings were amazing! Tons of indoor and outdoor seating.
