Stowaway's Town Tavern

Our family loves this restaurant so much. We live just 15 minutes from here. This place is always busy. Food is excellent! I actually like it much better than Angler’s. The calamari has homemade fresh salsa on top. Oh my goodness! Finally, someone serves seafood without tartar sauce! Excellent price, generous portion. Great French onion soup and better-than-your-mama’s cornbread are just so delicious! Meatloaf is so good. The burger is tasty! The Ruben sandwich is so amazing! I wish they would have enough staff and seasoned servers. Overall, this is an excellent restaurant! Would strongly recommend it to everyone.

Today was our first experience at Stowaway's and we left completely satisfied and happy. We will definitely be eager to return to fill up our bellies. The menu is huge, colorful, fun and full of variety. Service was quick and our waitress was awesome! I went with the Barnburner burger and the hubby went with the Cast Iron Skillet Seared Bourbon Chicken sandwich. Both were phenomenal. So, so delicious. Thank you Stowaway's for a wonderful first time. Can't wait to see you guys again!

New owner is a world-class restauranteur - specializing in incredibly fresh seafood, choice cut steaks, and cocktails that make other mixologists jealous. Nearly everything is scratch-made with Lobster steamed on-site daily. *Lobster Sliders are to die for! House-made soups include New England style clam chowder and lobster bisque… both were both hearty and full flavored. Plenty of parking, warm & knowledgable staff, and authentic coastal feel with the modern comforts of HD televisions at the bar. Definitely recommend to anyone in the area or traveling through on their way to Acadia National Park.

Nice clean place to grab a salad, soup, cocktails or sandwich. The inside is decorated with old photos of the area along with an eclectic array of colorful artwork. The menu is fun, vibrant with lots of goodies to order

This place is amazing! I had fun just watching other peoples food come out. The all looked so appealing and appetizing! The portions are huge! The drinks were awesome! We will definitely be back in the spring when we are in Maine again! So glad they opened before we left!
