'Soft open' they are still housed in the Decastro 2 location. Ordered loaded battered fries, chicken tenders and BBQ pulled pork sandwich. (No drinks available atm) the breaded fries.. OMG so freaking good!!! Hand battered not frozen fries nor frozen chicken (hand breaded) she wishes there was more dipping sauces provided. The BBQ sauce was really good sweet and tangy. The bun was toasted and buttery!
I got the smash burger with battered fries. The burger was excellent. It was seasoned really well, the veggies and bun were fresh and yummy as well. I have never seen battered fries before, they were good but just under-seasoned (no problem though I just seasoned them more myself). The portions and quality are great for the price too which is really nice. It is takeout only, but the lady who brought my food out to me was very kind. I definitely recommend.
Simple, classic, and satisfying—the chicken cutlet sandwich hits all the right notes. The cutlet was hot and crispy, with a nice crunch that held up well against the juicy slices of tomato and crisp romaine. The mayo added a smooth, tangy finish without overpowering the other ingredients. The real MVP was the toasted roll: golden on the outside, soft inside, and sturdy enough to hold everything together without falling apart. Every bite had that perfect balance of crunch, creaminess, and fresh flavor. It’s a no-frills sandwich done exactly right.
If you're looking to find a restaurant in Rome where the food is made with care by people who clearly love what they do, this is the spot. Didn't get a pic because we dug right in - ordered some smash burgers w/bacon that came with battered French fries and a pickle spear, and also some chargrilled wings. Still thinking about the smash burger days later - perfectly cooked patties & bacon, tasty burger sauce, and all the fixings on a bun - can't ask for anything better. Easily ordered online (currently the options are pickup or delivery.) Please give this spot a try and support this local business, you won't regret it.
Have had the food here a few times now and it is awesome. The battered fries are unique and handmade from scratch. All the food is hot, fresh , and the portion sizes are plentiful and definitely worth the money spent. I highly recommend
