I enjoyed drinks & appetizers for my first time at Vine & Fig. A friend and I shared the Rutabaga Apple Soup, Radicchio Salad with spiced poached pears, blue cheese and honey-walnut vinaigrette, and Coconut Cake with lime curd. Everything was great! Their moscato was delicious and only $6 a glass which is unheard of. Also notable is that their bread comes with amazing olive oil to dip in. Definitely worth a try and worth a drive.
Wow! What a great find. Came here from Clinton because I was with a friend who had some special dietary needs and wanted to eat outside - I never imagined I would be finding the best restaurant I've eaten at since moving to upstate NY three years ago. The food is divine - fancy but not so fancy that it's unrecognizable. Had the grilled cheese with fig jam, mussels in white wine, roasted summer squash in curry butter, and finished with a strawberry upside down cake with elderflower whipped cream. I also had the Nighthawk, with bourbon and campari. It was all absolutely amazing. Already working on plans to bring my husband and my in-laws!!
My best chum gal-pal brought me on a recent visit. Man, everything was super flavorful, delicious and balanced. I look forward to another trip to try some of their other offerings and seasonal dishes. Cocktails were equally tasty and well crafted. Staff was attentive and friendly and the atmosphere was cozy and comfortable. What a treat to have in Rome! Desserts were awesome too, and completed the meal. Everything is just prepared really well and communicates the chef's passion for cooking.
This restaurant is a jewel, a must experience. The food quality and presentation are outstanding but what make it exceptional is how the ingredients are used to create the most scrumptious, mouth watering dishes you ever tasted.
My wife and I decided to try this bistro for our wedding anniversary. Absolutely delicious Light meals, nothing heavy weighing you down. Cheese please is an amazing cheese plate with local cheeses and information on them as well which, is very cool. Other reviews talk about small portions which is actually what made me want to try it. However, They do offer larger options as well if interested. I loved being able to taste the wine before purchasing a glass. Very nice atmosphere. Thanks so much everyone!! Fantastic experience! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! 😁
