Station 1633 Table & Tavern

This review may be skewed from nostalgia, but I was very underwhelmed from my first visit since the Union Tavern closed. The atmosphere is much improved, the place looks modern with the nod to its historical roots. The wait staff is fantastic, they made sure we had everything we needed and checked on us at the right frequency. The issue revolved around the food. I ordered the clam chowder, that was beyond delicious. My wife ordered chips with guac and salsa. The guac was delicious, but the salsa was too mild and very bland. When our dishes arrived, they were plates well. I had the Chicken Parmesan over pasta and my wife had the Engine Co. Street Tacos. The chicken was tender and delicious, but the pasta was under cooked and the sauce had too much basil (and was garished with more basil)

I went tonight with my family and was amazed! The ambience is wonderful, and I love how they’ve spruced it up. I ordered the Spinach Dip for an appetizer and the Station BBQ Stack Sandwich for my meal — all of which were absolutely delicious and would highly recommend. We also split the pork tacos per the request of our waitress and enjoyed that as well. We will definitely be returning, and I have my eyes set on the crème brûlée for next time!

Did you ever go to a place and the food you get was way Better than what you expected... yeah thats Station 1633 Table & Tavern. I didn't bother getting an entree. I got 3 of the appetizers. I don't judge I was hungry. The charcueuri board was fantastic. It was laid out intentionally, and the cheeses and meats were top tier. Backdraft shrimp. It had just enough kick, cooked perfectly and again. The plating was great The wings, were cooked perfectly. They had the kick that you would expect. Service was not perfect. Initially slow on refills, but they were attentive enough I and not intrusive. A great new restaurant in town! So far I’ve had the calamari and station burger and both were fantastic. Good music, good food, and great customer service. Highly recommend!!

Checked out Station 1633 tonight with my family and we all enjoyed a fantastic meal! The ambience is very cozy and we will be back soon to try more of the menu!
