A small, cozy restaurant with a decent amount of seating. The moment you walk in, you can smell the pho and food, probably because the ventilation isn’t the best. The menu is simple, mostly pho and rice dishes. I tried the bún bò Huế (spicy beef noodles), which was flavorful and rich. The cơm tấm (grilled pork with rice) uses regular rice instead of broken rice, but the portion was generous and still pretty good. Prices are reasonable. Service is a bit slow, more like a family-run spot with limited staff. Overall, a nice little Vietnamese place with warm, homestyle, and worth trying if you’re craving comfort food.
Some of the best pho broth I've had since Hanoi. The broth tastes clean not filled with msg. Plenty of noodles and meat with the beef combo pho. The summer roles were fresh and well rolled. Also liked that a pair of old grandmas and a grandpa were running the shop so you know its authentic vietnamese recipes.
Pho Van truly lives up to its reputation—this place serves some of the best pho I’ve had in a long time. The broth is incredibly rich and flavorful, clearly simmered for hours to develop that perfect depth. The noodles were soft but not soggy, and the meat—whether brisket, rare steak, or meatballs—was tender and delicious. Everything was served piping hot and with a generous portion of fresh herbs, lime, bean sprouts, and jalapeños on the side, just as it should be. We also tried a few appetizers, and while they were solid, the pho is definitely the star of the show. If you're craving a comforting bowl of Vietnamese noodle soup, this is the place to go. The only minor downside was that service was a bit slow, especially once we were seated—it took a little while before someone came to ta
