Let me start by saying I do work fairly close to this location therefore I guess you could consider me a ‘regular’ when I am in office. The staff is always pleasant and when things have been wrong in the past there have been no issues with getting them switched out and or fixed. Additionally, this location offers mini samples of both food and drinks for customers to try — sometimes & no this is not upon request. The team works together effectively to ensure that the job is done when I have been in the store — both packed & as the only customer in there. They have a wide selection of merchandise available for purchase and most of the time things are on sale as well. Although this is not a corporate store and does not always offer the same menu items as others they still have a good variety
My husband and I were visiting from out of town (staying at the Hampton Inn next door, the day before Thanksgiving) and stopped in for coffees and a food order. While we were waiting and talking, an employee began cleaning the large table next to us and loudly dragged multiple chairs across the floor instead of lifting them. The noise was so intense we had to stop our conversation, and it gave me a headache. The same employee came over and, in a dismissive tone, asked if we had already ordered because they were closing in 10 minutes—even though the store was still crowded. We said yes, grabbed our drinks, and left. The whole interaction felt rushed and unwelcoming. I understand closing procedures, but basic courtesy matters: avoid ear-splitting chair dragging, communicate kindly, and maint
I’ve visited this Starbucks countless times and never had an issue until now. I took my dog on a walk and got her excited about stopping at Starbucks for a water and a pup cup. When I went inside, I was told I couldn’t get it without a purchase. I didn’t have my card on me, so we had to leave. My dog was confused and disappointed, knowing what we came for. This walk was meant to notice the small joys and simple moments that are also her big and exciting moments. We had to pivot due to what felt like corporate policy over customer experience. I can’t help but wonder how much they really save by denying a half cup of whipped cream and some tap water. This is another disappointing example of how grossly out of touch corporate decision makers are.
EDIT with Response to Starbucks (owner): I don't know what you are talking about "personal attack". I do not know Melissa from Adam. I am speaking to observations and facts. Are you asking that I come into the store and have a conversation directly with Melissa? And please share what good that would do? Happy to discuss further if provided a phone number and name to ask for. * * Listen... I hate to come on here and be that person but the manager, Melissa.... awful, just awful. My coworkers and I frequent this Starbucks a couple times a week due to the location, not by choice and honestly I probably don't go as much as I would but 1.) the drinks are not as great as other SB and 2.) Melissa is SOOO rude to her staff, and customers. The way she speaks to the staff is extremely inappropriat
The first thing you should know is that this location is not a corporate store. Therefore, it does not have all the offerings of a corporate store. But the staff I encountered, while nice enough, was not very well trained to let you know that something was not available upfront. For example, I ordered a cinnamon coffee cake, which I did had to explain to the staff was the same as the classic coffee cake. They found it on their computer screen and put in the order only to find out they don’t have it available at that store. I had to ask for a sleeve for my coffee cup, which they apparently were only giving out upon request because they don’t have enough. A management issue. The staff was not particularly enthusiastic. One young lady seemed to be more interested in pointing out the fact that
