St Helena Branch Library

Made a pitstop here during COVID whilst biking across the South. WIFI was obtainable from the seated benches outside and there were changing ports. Has a large parking lot. Grounds were well maintained for being closed during COVID.

I love our library and librarians! They have some great events too.

What a beautiful space to be in! In addition to study rooms, they have a sound lab and a 3D printer. Love it!

Great atmosphere! The library is designed with wonderful nooks as well as open spaces to read. The selection of books is good. The librarians and supportive staff are knowledgeable and extremely helpful. If you want a book that isn't in their collection, they can order it for you most of the time. I like ancient history and women nonfiction. Most of the titles I'm interested in are usually shelved here. However, no matter how obscure they've been able to find a copy for me.

The citizens of South Carolina should be very proud of this very fine library. I come from Pennsylvania, born in Philadelphia accustomed to the Free Library of Philadelphia. I currently live close to the Hershey Library (supported by the Milton Hershey Trust) and the Cleve Fredericksen Library voted "Best Library in PA". Your library surpasses these fine ones. It is more modern, better designed, more environmentally sustainable. This place was done right and is a benchmark for your state. The staff is courteous and concerned with the needs of the patrons. There are wonderful areas for small children and for teens. The book sale at the front was of great interest to my party. We picked up 7 books there!
