Seaside Bar & Grill

Came to South Carolina for graduation and wanted some good soul food with a touch of seafood. So glad we found this spot! At first, we were a little skeptical since, coming from ATL, the food hasn’t always been great when we travel. But on our last night here, Seaside Bar & Grill blew us away—EVERYTHING was absolutely BOMB! Thank you for such a great experience. We’ll definitely be back on our next trip!

It was our first time at the Seaside Bar and Grill. Maybe we ordered the wrong things, but the food was nothing to write home about. Here’s our take: Bang Bang Calamari - Good and crispy, but not enough kimchi. The bang bang sauce tasted like the bottled stuff in grocery stores. Shrimp Burger - Heavily breaded and oily, the patty tasted more of fillers and less of shrimp. Would have benefited from some creole or bay or any seasoning. The bun and fries were okay. Southwest Salad - This salad has become so ubiquitous in recent years that I can’t understand how a restaurant can mess it up. This one had too much cheese and red onions, not enough black beans or tomatoes, no cilantro or spring onions, topped with dried out grilled chicken and dressed in what tasted like watered down mayo. One of our favorite restaurants in the area. Any of the blackened seafood dishes are excellent. Great fried green beans and collard greens. The banana pie is to die for. And you have to get a Long Island iced tea…Keke makes the best. As good as the food was, the staff was even better. So friendly and fun to talk too. Gave it 5 stars but would have given 10 if I could.

We ate at this restaurant on Sunday and really enjoyed it. The seafood was delicious and the service was great and helpful. We especially appreciated their willingness to help us navigate food allergies. Would absolutely go back - and hope to do so!

Greetings, During the holiday season I planned a neighborhood gathering at, Seaside Grill. On shrimp night, Wednesdays I made a reservation for 20 folks. I made a deposit in which I received a voucher for credit towards my tab. A clear and helpful explanation was given by a young, cheerful lady which I do believe was the Asst. Mgr. who was also our server. The seating was set upon arrival with plenty of room. Serves was prompt. Now, this was separate checks but ordering and serving of the meal was performed perfectly. The food was great, seasoned well and hot. Plenty of sides were offered and drinks mixed well and enjoyed. Thank you to the bartender! The folks from Bay Pointe Vistas express our appreciation for the service, the great food and best wishes in 2026.
