This place is a true Lowcountry gem — simple, laid-back, and all about serving up seriously good shrimp. I had the shrimp burger and fries, and let me tell you… it was SO good. The shrimp burger was packed with flavor — perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside, tender on the inside — and piled high on a soft bun. Every bite tasted fresh and local. The fries were hot, crispy, and the perfect sidekick to that burger. But here’s the real magic: grabbing your food to-go and heading over to Hunting Island State Park. There is nothing like sitting on the beach, ocean breeze blowing, waves rolling in, and biting into a Shrimp Shack shrimp burger. It just hits

This is a super solid place located in St. Helena Island, SC. The building and sitting areas seem a little dated and could use a little love. A lot of people would say this is the southern charm piece. Food is made to order, came out hot and fresh. Service was quick and easy. Ordering is done through an ordering window. Prices seemed fair and reasonable for a take out spot. We ordered the Shrimp Burger, the Scallop Plate, and the Fish Sandwich. Everything was great. If I had to be picky, i would say 2 things. 1. Id want the scallops washed a little bit more. It is so hard to get ALL of the sand out sometimes. And 2. The shrimp patty was shaped unevenly so there was a thicker side and a thinner side of the patty. Would recommend and will stop by again if Im heading out to Fripp Island.

Great food! We ordered Shrimp sandwiches and fries. The sandwich was big, tasted awesome. Fries were great all at a reasonable price. Very friendly and nice people. Ist. time there, definitely will be going back. Picturesque setting.

Iconic! Probably the first and best shrimp burger I've ever had. Fried shrimp are good too. Keep it short and simple menu, but I highly recommend the shrimp burger.

If you seek good food but not fancy dining, then this is the place. Shrimp burger is shredded shrimp in a breaded fried or air fried shell, on a hamburger bun. It was not greasy. Table with ketchup, shrimp sauce is on the side. Limited lunch time hours, limited inside seating and limited parking.
