As a sourdough baker, I love supporting other sourdough bakeries, and this one is special! I loved the atmosphere and the incredibly friendly staff. It was a treat watching the bread be sliced by the automatic bread slicer. &&& the bread was absolutely amazing! You must try the Iced Cinnamon Sugar Focaccia - it's addicting!

We arrived late in the day, desperately seeking some bread for the Thanksgiving table. The owner greeted us with a smile and offered us the last loaf of sourdough rolls...and at a discount! When we later followed directions, baking them to complement a delicious shrimp dinner, the rolls were spectacularly useful for soaking up the garlicky shrimp sauce. Southport Sourdough was just the ticket to launch our holiday!

A jem of a family-owned sourdough bakery. The dinner rolls were phenomenal. Simple organic ingredients and I love that you can bake them in their dish so they're hot and the crust is crispy. Be sure to get there early or place an order before they sell out. You won't be disappointed.
