LaPolena Bed and Breakfast

The La Polena Bed & Breakfast is well worth the little extra $$ you would spend at a hotel! |Suzy, the owner greeted us immediately upon arrival. She was very helpful in planing our Southport and Bald Head Island excursions. |We stayed in the “shell room”. |Our room was private and comfy. There is a large 2nd floor balcony style porch just off the bedroom's hallway which features chairs & a swing! |The LaPolena is the only bed & breakfast currently in South Port. ||The breakfast was first class and all made from scratch by Suzy. |The home is not over 10 years old so very up to date style. |The views of the bay from the porch are nice and the Ferry was right down the street! |My husband and I highly recommend The La Polena! ||Sincerely, Mark & Mary Perry of Charlotte

Another great stay at our favorite B&B in Southport….we love this place …and we love Suzy! The location is perfect, so very elegant and immaculate, and a wonderful breakfast each morning. She will recommend restaurants and things to do. Stay with Suzy, you’ll be happy you did! 🥰

The best B&B we have ever stayed! The service is impeccable, house is immaculate and the grounds are absolutely stunning. Unlike most B&B's we had free rein of the home, the location is perfect and you have a designated parking spot. Suzy is a wonderful host and we cannot wait to come back! Southport is the perfect coastal!

This is a beautiful B&B. It was welcoming, peaceful and spotless. Our room was serene and very comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the veranda and watching the ships go by. The breakfasts were out of this world delicious. The sunroom was a delightful perk along with the pool in the backyard. Our own private bathroom was fully stocked and immaculate. I am planning on bringing a few friends for a weekend again. I would recommend this B&B to everyone.

This B&B run by lovely Suzy is absolutely delightful. It is a beautiful stylish home in the town of Southport and if we are back in the area we would definitely stay with Suzy again. We stayed in the Aviator Room, the bed was so comfortable but what got us out of the bed each day was the knowledge that we.were going to be treated to Suzy’s delicious food. It was great to have breakfast with the other visitors and we met some lovely people while there.
