Burney's Bakery of Southport

Anyone who doesn’t give this place five stars is dreadfully misinformed! This is a five star establishment all day every day! Today I had the most amazing experience. Took my kids in after basketball practice and we wanted a sweet treat. I have never had a doughnut croissant in my life. I have to say this will be a terrible thing for my diet, but totally worth it. My son had a cinnamon roll. My daughter had a fresh sprinkled doughnut, and I had several of the croissant doughnut things. My favorite was the one filled with cream cheese. Everyone here was so nice. They gave us free samples of several items. This is what running a business is all about. Great experience great great managers.

It was our first time visiting this bakery and wow!! It definitely won't be our last. This place is phenomenal! We got a lil variety box. The croissants are the best out of everything we tried. I would highly recommend getting those. The top 3 favorite croissants in our group were: apple cinnamon, maple bacon and their chocolate croissant. Can't wait to come back to try more, maybe they can make a Nutella, cookie butter or Dubai chocolate croissants 😉😊? I love my sweets and this place fulfilled my cravings, hands down. I am writing to you from New Jersey to share what a wonderful experience I had at your bakery. I was recently visiting the beautiful city of Southport for my friend Missy's birthday, and since we both have a sweet tooth, she suggested we stop by Burney's. Your bakery did not disappoint. I purchased six deliciously filled croissants, a scoop of banana pudding ice cream, and a scoop of strawberry cheesecake ice cream. I must admit I ate both ice creams and two of the croissants myself, but I did share the remaining croissants with the birthday girl. Everything was absolutely delicious.

We saw this bakery yesterday on our way to eat. So we went out for cronuts this morning. Ms. Jen was awesome. It was our first time so she gave us all a glazed cronut and it was delicious. I love that she asked me if I wanted inside or outside for my brownie. I'm an inside brownie person. If you are ever in Southport, NC make sure you stop by, you won't be disappointed!!

Always stop or they appear at the house whenever we visit. So many great options there, it’s not just the croissants!
