Amazing food! Think of this lowcountry gem as a gourmet pop-up. You can't always get it, but when you can it is amazing! Start with the smash burgers and work your way down the menu! Seriously the smash burgers are absolutely amazing. The hours are all over the place for Shells by the Sea, the owners have other jobs that frequently keep them from opening. Your best bet is to follow them on social media and look for updates. It is worth the added effort! They update Facebook often. They show movies on the side of the truck while you wait. About 5 min from Harbor Island, 10 min from Hunting Island and 12-15 from Fripp. Food comes off the grill piping hot, so getting back to your home, rental or camp site with a still warm meal is a real option.
