Sanders on Mackinac

We were disappointed with the quality and freshness of the in counter products (chocolate covered peanuts and raisins, and sea salt caramels)... as compared to their own pre-packaged mass produced retail products as well as other Mackinac Island confectioners. We expected much better products buying direct from a Sanders store. The comment: seemed like they just took the product out of the favtory package and put it on display as if bulk fresh made. Sorry!

Sanders is awesome! Such great variety and selection. The ice cream (pictured: coconut explosion & Mississippi mud) is amazing!

Fudge was good. After trying two different flavors the lady was incredibly rude and said she wouldn’t give more samples. She would roll her eyes when my kids asked to try a piece. Little did she realize I was going to have them each piece their own flavor. I was planning on buying their 3 slice sample pack but took my business elsewhere due to how rude she was.

We love Sanders on Mackinac! The proprietors Amy and Emily work on site and always take care of us making our special dark chocolate bark! Awesome service every time…. I give them my highest recommendation - you should make a point to go there!

First time to Mackinac Island. Smelling all the chocolate, I finally broke down and bought a toffee bark and milk chocolate almond cluster. Completely disappointed. I threw away because not worth the calories. Waxy cheap chocolate. With little chocolate taste. Try a different shop is my recommendation, not Sander’s.
