Millie's on Main

On a recent visit to Mackinac Island, my family and I had dinner one evening at Millie's on Main. We waited about 15 minutes for a table which seemed very reasonable given the holiday weekend. The seating is typical of an old pub. We sat in a compact, wooden booth opposite the bar. Our waitress was great ... she was both welcoming and casual yet efficient. Like seeing an old friend. She answered all of our questions quickly and thoughtfully. Drinks and apps came out quick. We split an order of truffle fries for the appetizer. These were 10/10 amazing ... and I highly recommend them if you get the chance. For my entree, I enjoyed the NY strip ...med-rare. It came out perfectly seasoned and cooked with a hot pink center. We had a great experience during our visit to Mackinac Island. The food was fresh and flavorful, we had their rosemary and lemon grilled chicken, and it was absolutely delicious. We also enjoyed a local beer that paired perfectly with the meal. What really made it special was the warm and welcoming staff. They were incredibly kind and even helped entertain our infant while we ate, which made our time there so much more relaxing and enjoyable. Highly recommend Millie’s for both the food and the genuine hospitality!

Very cool place. Reminded me of the pub at the Biltmore estate. Everything exceeded expectations, drinks, truffle fries, steak and chicken. Katelyn took great care of us and even offered other recommendations for our island visit. We'll definitely be back!

We went to Millie’s on Main for my birthday on Friday (06/27) and had an amazing time. The atmosphere is cozy yet elevated. The food was amazing, everyone left full and happy, And Brooke, our server, was amazing. She never let our drinks go empty, was insanely friendly, and even brought out mashed potatoes shaped as icing for my birthday. Next time I go to Mackinac, Millie’s on Main is going to be a must to eat at.
