Cottage Inn of Mackinac

From the gorgeous flowers/landscaping outside to the delicious breakfast each day, everything at Cottage Inn was superb! Both rooms we had were clean and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the porch of the Garden Balcony room and our friends liked the extra bed in the Light House room. |Each afternoon tasty snacks were available for guests and the breakfasts were all great! There were egg dishes, fruit, and a freshly baked treat available each day as well as bagels, toast, yogurt, cereal, and oatmeal. One could eat inside or outside on the porch. We were close to the grocery store, restaurants, and bike rentals. It was just a short walk from the ferry dock, too. |Checking in/out was easy and everyone was so very friendly! We loved our stay and would be happy to have the opportunity to stay

The exceptional service began even before our arrival, as the staff was incredibly helpful and great in assisting with our planning. From the moment we physically checked in, the experience felt truly 5-star. The location is unbeatable—perfectly situated for easy access to the ferries, main street, and all the island's charm, yet peaceful enough for a restful night's sleep. The service was exceptional; every staff member was friendly, attentive, and genuinely went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The cleanliness of the inn was remarkable. My friends and I spent 2 days on Mackinac Island the end of September and had a wonderful time! Such a fun and relaxing place. We booked the Cottage inn earlier this year based on prior reviews and photos. The inn did not disappoint! Charming, lovely and cozy. The can also be said of our innkeeper and her associate Kenesha. Our room was cute and beachy. The breakfast in the mornings were outstanding. We could sit on the front porch and watch the horse carriages go by. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a nice place to stay.

Just finished an outstanding weekend at The Cottage Inn. Excellent, friendly hosts and staff, great location (just off the main street so it's quiet, but quick walk to shops and restaurants). Breakfasts were delicious and satisfying. Our room was clean, comfortable, and peaceful. A beautiful place to stay. Highly recommended.

The Cottage Inn is the cleanest, quaintance, most welcoming B&B I’ve experienced in a long time. Attention is paid to every detail. Melissa and Kenesha make your stay there special. Both ladies are so warm and kind. The beds are comfortable and cozy and the yummy breakfasts leaves nothing more to ask for. This is our third stay at The Cottage Inn and probably won’t be our last.❤️
