Metivier Inn

First time visitor here and the stay was awesome. We spent three days in October, mid-week. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfy. I lost track of the number of repeat guests I overheard. The staff is amazing. Friendly, personable and knowledgeable in all things related to the island, from great places to see gorgeous sunsets to luggage handling. I can definitely see myself becoming a member of the "see you next year" club. Quick items: Yes, there is internet. Yes there is a TV (I never turned it on). Yes, the rooms have private baths. Yes, the breakfast offered covers the usual fare, hot and cold. The porch is lovely.

Great location, one street off the Main Street so not as busy. close to the ferry. Room was very comfortable not very large but it was roomy enough for us. We weren’t in the room much anyway. We loved sitting on the front lawn chairs and watching the carriages go by Very peaceful. We left our luggage at the ferry and the Inn picked it up for us and delivered it to our room. Its actually not very far a walk with luggage but our room was upstairs so it was nice that they brought upstairs for us Breakfast was good with a table on the front porch. I think it was a good value for the price, much more reasonable than other places I would definitely stay here again!

This is a very beautiful property located near downtown. We stayed for a weekend and definitely will come back again! We appreciate that they held onto our luggage so that we could explore before checking in. The complimentary breakfast was a great way to start the mornings, and the cookies, tea, and coffee were wonderful, sweet treats in the afternoon. The bedroom was so cute and comfy. I appreciate how close they are to downtown without having the noise of the crowds. We had such a wonderful stay. Congrats on your 40th year in operation!

We have gone to Mackinac Island several times and stayed at other places, including the iconic Grand Hotel. We have settled on Metivier Inn because it is so very nice. Clean, comfortable, convenient, and nice host. We highly recommend this B&B.

The Metivier Inn Bed and Breakfast is located 1 block off the main street on Mackinac Island. The rooms and entire property are extremely clean and well maintained. The hosts are very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast in the morning was outstanding. I would definitely stay here again if returning to the Island.
