Salem City Library

Currently my favorite library on the planet! Their Library of Things (LOT) is awesome as I have been able to borrow puzzles, musical instruments, science models, board games, etc. Their staff are kind and seem to always have activities for patrons to do. They just opened up a new wing for the children so the main library is more peaceful now with couches and a fireplace. Can’t wait to come warm up by the fire come winter!

A lovely place, there was a lot of loud talking from the sweet ladies at the front desk. I wish that it was a bit more quiet. Other than that, a great selection and good place to study or read.

I think this is a great library, our family has loved it. The addition they just added was also very welcome.

Honestly this library is for all ages…as cliche as that sounds 🤓 but no really they have an amazing selection of items (besides books) to check out. They’ve got an entire double sided bookshelf full of board games, and three more full of kids crafts and toys, and randoms like a pasta machine! 🤩 There’s a cute play area my daughter loves to scoot around in too. 🙌 Super excited for the new addition. Would love even more of a play area! P.S. my only complaint is it’s kind of a furnace in there 🔥
