this place is delightful. the staff is kind and attentive. they seemed a little stressed about getting the food out quickly and apologized for “the wait”, but honestly it did not take long at all to get all three plates. and the food…🤤 probably the best mac salad i’ve ever had!! the teri chicken & katsu chicken were my favorites of the meat options, but i tried them all and there isn’t a bad choice on the menu. everything is delicious and the portions are generous. next time i’m getting the loco moco (a longtime favorite of mine), and i’m excited to try it here.

So yummy! I was excited to get a little bit of aloha. My favorites are the garlic chicken (fried chicken in a yummy sweet garlic sauce) and rice. I was a big fan of the Mac salad which is totally authentic and so creamy. I also adore the chicken katsu. The sauces are delish. The Japanese style curry is satisfying and savory and not spicy like Thai curry. I recommend half and half. The ambiance is great. Hawaiian radio station. Also, I love the desserts. I stop in for the butter mochi as a snack and prices are really good. Butter mochi is only $3. They also have guava cake which is super refreshing. I love the food here. Prices are similar to fast food and so much better. Please stop by and try it. I always noticed it but didn't know what to expect. Definitely worth it.

From the moment I walked in the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Offered to work with what I wanted and the service was quick and kind. Food proportions were generous and very, very good! Best Hawaiian food you can find in Utah.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ GoodGrindz is hands down one of my favorite local spots! The food is always on point fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly every time. My daughter had the curry katsu chicken her favorite. The garlic chicken was crispy and full of flavor, the loco moco hit all the right notes, and that fried musubi was next level! You can tell they put pride into their food and really care about their customers. Big portions, great prices, and super friendly service.

Serving size was awesome! Enough for me to have plenty of leftovers as well as my husband! Price point is good. Ryan was so nice, friendly, and helpful! We will definitely go again!
