Sadie's BBQ Inn

Glad to see Sadie’s back in Honolulu after closing the H Mart Kakaako location. However, one small request to the owner (the bald owner who cooks the kalbi): please try not to burn my very expensive kalbi. Burnt meat is probably not the “signature flavor” anyone is looking for. Three years ago my meat was getting charred, and somehow it’s still happening again here at The Park. Anyone can burn meat on a grill — that part isn’t exactly a special skill. The real skill is cooking it properly without turning it into charcoal. Please cook it, not cremate it. I’d really like to enjoy the kalbi without feeling like I’m increasing my cancer risk from eating blackened meat. I genuinely want to keep ordering from your restaurant, so hopefully next time the kalbi will be grilled — not incinerated
